By trade I am a Registered Nurse but secretly I am an
artist! Ok, that is a little farfetched… but there is some truth in my
statement.
So, how did it all get started? Well, once upon a time I was
working 40+ hours as a nurse and needed a hobby to forget about the stress of
nursing. I bought an embroidery machine and spent many, many nights learning
how to do embroidery. I made baby blankets and embroidered towels and bags. I
started embroidering everything I could get my hands on. But I found it hard to
find designs that were cute and stitched out nicely. Oh, how I could tell you
horror stories about designs I bought that wreaked havoc on my embroidery
machine. But in the beginning, I thought
that was just the way it was supposed to be. However, time and experience
taught me those designs were not good.
Then one day my husband told me to buy an auto embroidery digitizer, so I did. Boy was that awful. I mean, it worked. It auto-digitized images/vectors but they were horrible, not horrible looking, but horrible stitching out. More and more time went by and then my husband (tired of me complaining about the quality of designs) told me to buy embroidery designing software. Well… let me tell you, that was a life changer! I quickly became engrossed in designing and creating. I just kept creating and creating more and more designs. Then one day my husband said “you should sell your designs”. And the rest is history! Now here I am creating and selling my hand created, manually designed embroidery designs.
Thank you for stopping by!
